As i was reading a finance book i read about financial entertainers and financial consultants but i couldn't find anything about their differences in the book. Can anyone tell me what's the difference between those two?

Financial consultants are licensed professionals who give personalized advice. Meanwhile financial entertainers mostly give general tips for a broad audience, like on TV or YouTube. The former is held to legal standards. The other... hmm not so much.

Financial entertainers give out GENERAL tips and education, the other helps you make real decisions. So just think that one's goal, from the word itself, is to entertain and the other is the more professional and by the book, or law.

I feel financial entertainers are mostly clout-chasing influencers, while financial consultants actually handle your money. People act like they're interchangeable, but trusting TikTok advice over a licensed pro is basically gambling with your future...my thoughts
