I love the flexibility and affordability of working from home but I worry about how it looks to new prospects. Do you emphasize virtual meetings, renting a shared space or just owning it and letting your work speak for itself?

@James Ashe Yeah, that's a classic WFH worry! Honestly, I lean into owning it and highlighting the benefits. I'll say something like, 'My setup keeps overhead low, meaning more value/focus for your project.' Plus, really nail those virtual meetings to show you're professional. The work quality should always be the loudest voice anyway. Does that resonate with your vibe?

Yes that totally resonates with my vibe. You're speaking my language by framing it as a client benefit instead of a drawback. That approach really turns the tables on the whole issue. My main hang-up is just ensuring that professionalism shines through from the get-go. How do you make that initial online meeting really command attention?

Why not let your results lead the way? I've found that owning the remote setup confidently, with good communication and delivery, often matters more than where you're sitting.

This is an excellent reminder that quality work should be the main focus. My only hangup is projecting confidence and professionalism from the very first interaction. Do you have a specific communication tool or practice that helps build that initial trust with a new prospect?
